I was so pleased to find your beatiful website. It's been ages since we last spoke and I hope everything is fine with you.
I still keep the old bloodline, but nowadays I only use dogs bred for field trial. My husband and I like to go hunting with our dogs so this suits us much better. Mischa (Killarney Rose of Trawricka) is still one of the best Irish setters I have ever known or met! She had it all and would have made a superb gundog if she'd been given the chance.(Too bad I was too ignorant to realize that when I had the chance!) We currently have a litter born december 27 sired by a Norwegian dog. An excellent gundog with 10 prizes on field trials and two CC's on shows. The puppies are the great great grandchildren of Mischa! We have great hopes for this litter and make sure we place the puppies with people who are active hunters and also want to enter them on field trials. Of course one of the bitches is staying with us:-)) I'll send you some pictures if you want.
